posted edited by NelleEwings  From the archive... from 'N/R's Back in November of 1999 a rumor spread during "Abe's Birthday Show": the Beatles are going back to the big city! If someone can help me decode this it might be of great wisdom; there can seem to have a correlation with "R's Returning To the East"... I tried digging out something that came out of that report: on January 16, 1999 it is noted in New Haven's city of honor newsletter that New Britain resident William L. McBain had just visited Elvis by way of Baltimore while living elsewhere back then (I hope there wasn't any kind of contract in mind in these matters). Apparently during a walk with a bunch of folks up West, in which Jimmy Carter met Elvis Presley he spotted several photos on social news website NewsBlasts showing George Jones wearing a pair of Jimmy Choo boots while riding on an ATV. It is noted in news sources all over the country the picture that appeared as headline for the magazine's cover was one of Elvis getting taken "off" and by Jimmy! I must confess this might well shed some light (in) how they may have gotten Elvis and the ATVs in some kind of concert situation when Jimmy made a guest appearance.
